ISO – way of working
Hamdija Jusufagic became the sole owner of System Verification, expanding its services to cover all aspects of software quality assurance while intensively recruiting new talent. The company won Dagens Industri’s Gasell Award in 2008 and 2009 and was named the fastest-growing business in Skåne in 2009. Jusufagic also received Ernst & Young’s Årets Manliga Stjärnskott award for both southern Sweden and the country. In 2010, System Verification earned ISO 9001:2008 certification, with annual audits by Den Norske Veritas (DNV) ensuring compliance with quality management standards.
System Verification expanded significantly. By 2012, it had 185 employees across Malmö, Gothenburg, and Stockholm, and became an accredited ISTQB® and REQB® training provider. In 2013, the company opened its Sarajevo office, with Hamdija Jusufagic being named Business Leader of the Year in Sweden. In 2014, a new office was established at Ideon Gateway in Lund, and Sarajevo’s team grew, while a CSR project in Bosnia equipped a school with new computers. In 2015, the company launched its new vision, Improving Digital Life, joined Mobile Heights, and Jusufagic joined the Business Executives Council for IVA South.
System Verification continued to expand despite global challenges. In 2020, the company opened an office in Warsaw and focused on preserving its company culture during the pandemic. In 2021, a new office was established in Jönköping, and the Movember initiative was launched to promote health and social responsibility. The company celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022 with a global conference in Split, Croatia, and opened a new office in Hamburg. In 2023, despite facing difficulties, System Verification recruited over 70 new colleagues, enhanced the SYVE Wellbeing concept, and earned UC Sweden’s highest creditworthiness seal for the fifth consecutive year.

When it comes to doing our part for the environment, our journey has just begun. Today, we strive to choose ISO 14001-certified airlines, use electric or hybrid cars and separate all office waste. We also support non-profit organisations such as Ocean Cleanup.

We want to contribute to positive social change. This is why we support both local and global charity organizations. We are engaged in a number of initiatives for children and young people around the world. Since 2014, we are also a Corporate Supporter to Les Médecins sans Frontières.
