Alfa Laval is a global industrial leader operating in over 100 countries. To maintain this position, fast and reliable access to information is essential, from troubleshooting and proposals to specification checks and service history.
As the product portfolio grew and digitalization accelerated, information became fragmented across systems and tools. This slowed work and made it harder to deliver a consistent customer experience.
To address this, Alfa Laval set a clear goal: to democratize access to information. The result is ALVA, a single intelligent entry point for fast, consistent, and secure access.

System Verification contributed AI, QA and testing expertise. The AI knowledge enabled the Personal Agent, a chatbot that supports the employees with tasks like research, image generation, and data analysis. QA and testing ensure Alva remains stable, reliable, and trustworthy.
- CodeScene Added advanced code analysis, transforming codebases into actionable insights on technical debt, hotspots, and risk, giving teams data-driven signals on where to focus next.
THE RESULT
The result is an AI agentic platform. In less than 10 weeks, Alva went from concept to a global launch for 25,000 users, and it now expands with role-based agents and new use cases as Alfa Laval’s needs grow.
