This course reviews the activities for which a test manager is expected to take responsibility e.g. development of test strategy, scheduling and evaluation of quality factors.

Upon completing the course, you should be able to:
- Plan, estimate, follow up on and provide status reporting for a small-scale test project
- Define test policy and test strategy
- Understand how the test manager’s role is affected by different development processes
- Produce relevant measurements and understand the basics of change management work
Who should attend?
The course is suitable if you have several years of experience in testing and want to take the next step towards becoming a test manager. The course is also appropriate for those wishing to learn more about test management in different types of projects and who want to develop their testing management toolbox.
Level and prerequisites
You should have several years of experience in working with different kinds of testing, ideally in different types of projects. Alternatively you have a thorough theoretical background in test processes and testing in general.
The course is based on a combination of instructor-led sessions and discussions. A number of practical exercises are included to convert participants’ new knowledge into practice and to create a forum for discussion. Instruction is in Swedish.
On the 2-3rd of november, this course will be held remote (on a distance) from Göteborg and Malmö. As a distance student you have full contact with students and teachers in the natural course room with large TV screens. You get full service in terms of breakfast, lunch and snacks, and you sit in a quiet environment with modern equipment.
