Stratiteq is a business and IT consulting company working with digitally driven behavioural change, from strategy to technical implementation. They are specialists in CRM, decision support and portals, and use leading platforms from Microsoft, such as Microsoft® Dynamics CRM and SharePoint®. In 2008 Stratiteq was selected by Swedish financial newspaper Dagens Industri for a prestigious “Gasell” award. The occasion also marked the start of a long and fruitful cooperation with System Verification.

Capacity for demanding projects
The first opportunity for cooperation arose when Stratiteq was asked to build a number of complex, business-critical systems for a major customer. The customer had operations around Europe, but local IT systems were still being used to support the company’s processes. The new systems would replace the existing ones, to give the customer a simpler, more flexible way to communicate and provide information. This was a significant undertaking requiring high levels of delivery performance and quality.

Strategic resources and cutting-edge competence
Stratiteq contracted a tester from System Verification with key expertise in test management. The consultant served as a resource in the projects by structuring test activities and regularly ensuring that the code being developed was testable. This took place through the consultant’s close cooperation with project managers to specify requirements and set priorities for which requirements would be tested. Testers and developers worked side by side, which meant that many bugs could be prevented at early stages.
According to Gert Lauritzen, it is a clear advantage to include testers during a longer period in the project, because they acquire deep understanding of the systems. They can also contribute more to the project and find more opportunities for improvement. This means that Stratiteq increases the return on its investment.

As Gert Lauritzen sees it, enhanced efficiency and significantly increased quality in Stratiteq’s products are two clear benefits of contracting testers.
