Innovating Integration: AI-Driven Collaboration with Emely
In the ever-evolving landscape of technological collaborations, the partnership between NordAxon and System Verification is about to improve Emely even further. Emely is an online language training tool driven by artificial intelligence. Beyond its role in supporting users in various speech contexts, Emely contributes significantly to societal integration within Sweden.
Additionally, System Verification’s pro bono commitment to this collaboration reflects a shared dedication to societal well-being. Moreover, the collaboration has a unique aspect as both Emely and System Verification leverage AI to bring innovation to the quality assurance (QA) processes, shaping new ways of working in the realm of AI-driven applications.
The Genesis of Emely
Launched in 2021 for the Helsingborg AMF by NordAxon, Emely initially aimed to assist job seekers by refining their language skills for interviews. However, as user feedback and requirements evolved, Emely’s applications expanded far beyond its original purpose, making it a versatile tool for various communication scenarios. Emely is continuously developed with new updates and scenarios to optimize end users’ satisfaction and meet the needs within the area.
Emely’s Contribution to Integration
Emely, functioning as a virtual language coach, not only enhances individual language skills but also plays a vital role in the integration of newcomers into Swedish society. Tailored language training for diverse communication situations helps foster a sense of belonging, contributing to a more inclusive and cohesive community.
System Verification’s AI-Driven Quality Assurance
A noteworthy aspect of this collaboration is System Verification’s pro bono commitment, reflecting dedication to societal well-being. System Verification employs AI in quality assurance processes, testing and ensuring Emely’s functionality, reliability, and user experience. This innovative approach to QA represents a pioneering effort to explore new ways of working and enhance the efficiency of testing AI-driven applications.
The partners have initially had a few meetings and workshops to learn from each other about both the current status of Emely, the future needs, and the approach we need to take to succeed and generate a great end-user experience, meeting a wide range of needs.
Test new ways oF working
Emely’s role extends beyond language training to serve as a platform for testing innovative QA approaches in AI projects. Through collaboration, System Verification aims to redefine industry standards.
Two tracks have emerged: automating existing testing approaches and developing innovative methods for validating AI-generated conversations. Challenges loom for NordAxon, particularly regarding large language models (LLMs) and the risk of misinformation. Read more about these challenges in this blog post written by Henrik Siljebråt, Machine Learning Engineer at NordAxon. Addressing these challenges requires proactive solutions and collaborative efforts within the team. By fostering innovation, they can overcome obstacles and drive progress in AI QA.
Expanding Reach and Impact
NordAxon envisions Emely as a tool contributing to societal integration on a broader scale, addressing the language training needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds. The collaboration, driven by both innovation in language training and QA methodologies, strives to make Emely an influential force in shaping the future of AI-driven applications and quality assurance practices.
The collaborative effort between NordAxon and System Verification, embodied by Emely, not only exemplifies technological innovation but also underscores a commitment to societal well-being and the exploration of new possibilities in AI-driven QA. As Emely continues to evolve, the project becomes a trailblazer in language training, showcasing the transformative potential of technology when guided by a shared vision of social responsibility and innovation.
