From intern to employee
An eventful and exciting summer has come to an end for the four interns who attended our internship in July earlier this year. What have they been up to, what have they enjoyed the most and what happens next? Let’s have a chat with Dalila and Emina!
First of all, congratulations! Both of you were offered employment at System Verification when the internship ended.
Emina: Thank you! I have really enjoyed spending time at System Verification with all the amazing people here, so I am proud to be an employee now.
Dalila: I was hoping that this internship would help me getting a job at a nice company, and I am happy that this has become a reality. Now, I’m eager to get started at my new assignment!
Have the internship met your expectations?
Dalila: For me, this internship was a first big step for my future career. I expected to learn basic things about development and testing, but I am surprised how many things I have learned! I got the chance to work on a project from start to end. This internship has taught me the whole process of developing an application, including talking with the client, presenting the work process, testing the application, fixing problems and so on.
Emina: I agree. I have learnt a lot and our mentors have been supporting in every possible way. The internship has definitely surpassed my expectations.
What are your impressions about System Verification?
Dalila: I like everything about the company, especially the colleagues and how the organization value their employees. Also, I have become very fond of the 15 minutes coffee breaks called “fika”. Then there is usually someone telling a good joke or showing some funny videos and everyone is laughing.
Emina: The people who work here have left the biggest impression on me. It is a group of young and enthusiastic people who make the work atmosphere cosy and pleasant. Everyone is so friendly and down to earth, and I felt welcomed and appreciated from day one.
