Building Tomorrow’s Experts

Seven years ago, our Sarajevo office initiated a project that has since brought many talented consultants to our company. We launched a summer internship program with two main goals: to provide young, ambitious individuals with opportunities for further education and to prepare interns to meet the needs of our clients so they could easily transition into full-time roles after the program. 

Since the start, we have conducted seven internship cycles, welcoming 33 interns. Out of these, 21 have become full-time employees, many of whom are still with us today. Our consultants have grown with us, developing into skilled quality assurance engineers who work on client projects and consistently receive positive feedback. From the beginning, they have had the chance to work on diverse projects, demonstrating their abilities at various levels. 

Our high success rate with interns who transition into full-time roles speaks for itself. They come to us well-prepared to contribute to projects from day one, with a strong skill set and a dedication to quality work. They have quickly adapted to both our company culture and the cultures of our clients, embodying our company motto: “Quality in every aspect of life.” 

Upon becoming full-time employees, our consultants are assigned to their dedicated team manager, who provides additional support during their transition. They have had the chance to follow the progress of several interns, watching them grow from junior roles to medior and senior positions.

In just four years, she is excelled in diverse roles, from QA Engineer and Scrum Master to Product Manager and now as a Delivery Lead. The internship program is structured into several phases. Interns start by learning both manual and automation testing through real-world projects, giving them practical experience. They also have the chance to build and develop their own testing frameworks, all under our experienced mentors’ guidance. In addition to technical skills, the program emphasizes the development of soft skills, such as team presentations, English communication, and networking with colleagues.

One thing that stands out about all our colleagues who joined us from the internship program is their proactivity and energy. They have all developed a solid foundation in testing, which has enabled them to adapt quickly and confidently handle various tasks. I would like to specifically highlight Dalila and Arzija, who are both working on challenging and demanding projects. While the internship is primarily conducted on-site at our Sarajevo office, our global team is also actively involved. Interns regularly interact with colleagues from our international offices, perform demos, and present their work to some members of our global management team. At the end of each internship, interns highlight their progress and achievements to both the local and global teams. This exposure helps them build connections across our European offices, making their transition into full-time roles smoother. 

We’re proud to say that our internship program continues to attract many applicants. In the past two years alone, we have received over 400 applications each year, and the interest is still growing. Despite the many internship programs available, ours remains popular. 

Each year, our program brings in fresh talent, energizing our team with new skills and perspectives. This summer, four interns successfully completed the program, highlighting their journey and the skills they have developed.
